We're off out on Sunday, were gonna head to Dalby but it sounds frozen and unlikely to thaw any time too soon; so where's riding good? The above are usualish day trips.

Went to Cannock today, it was in decent condition. Just a lot of singletrack is closed.

The peaks looked absolutely stunning from my depressing position on the M6, white and wintery with clear blue skies, what exactly is wrong with frozen?

Embrace the crunch

Live eight miles or so away from Gisburn and all the snow has gone - am guessing it's gonna be a tad wet though!

Snow is great, sheet ice not so much. Sounds like Cannock or Gisburn is worth a shot then, ta muchly.

What about Bolton Abbey/Burnsall? Park up at the New Inn and do the Sport Route, not had snow in Skipton for over a week.
