SW London has enough that as you ride along your lower crank almost touches the snow.. (So I'm guessing a good couple of inches at least)

I'm not waiting much longer, I've been at work all night, so I'm spending the day in bed with the electric blanket on. 🙂

Most disappointed to wake up and find no more snow than the very small amount that fell last night in the Peterborough area. It is trying at the moment though....

What!! 4" snow in Rutland....that's only about 20 mins from me. 😯

I seem to be living in some kind of anti-snow hotspot.

I always thought that (living in Nottingham) but the direction the snow has come in from has avoided the geography that normally keeps us pretty much snow-free.

About 2 - 3" settled on the South Coast. will head out on the South Downs later as it probably a fair bit thicker up there 🙂

Oh and still a little bit falling....

It would seem that Malvern is also an anti-snow hotspot, given they're talking about disruption in Shropshire and we're between there and where the worst of it is. Got my skis in the car today, but I don't think they'll be coming out 🙁

I do suspect though that those in the SE see snow so rarely that there's just a little exaggeration.

its easily 8 inches.

Is that what you tell all the boys?

Just hoping now that it's cleared up enough by Tuesday night that I can make it to Gatwick for my proper ski trip - whyy does it have to choose to snow this week? 🙄

Snowing like a goodun' in Cannock at the moment. The ride to work across the Chase was ace! No-one about, untouched snow... superb. Lots of muppets on the roads either end though...

Almost hub deep in parts near me 😀
Great ride in to work watching the 'my journey is so essential' motorists skidding oh so gracefully into each other 😆

Can't see any here in the frozen north. Think southerners should MTFU like we have to do. Nobody comments when we're snowed in.

Only reason comments are made is because its quite unusual for us to have this much snow especially in London!

Nobody comments when we're snowed in.

Thats because the north is of little importance other than a play area for wealthy southern mountain bikers.

You all have outside toilets and live, work then die within 1/2 mile of where you were born (complete with 12 fingers and webbed feet).

We've had a good few inches up in Cockermouth, Cumbria. It's caused mayhem, the roads around us is like a dodgem arena at the fair.

I can't believe there's no snow in Malvern.

Well there is some, but only ~1/2 an inch (don't know if our inches are bigger here). Had this much a few weeks ago, and a lot more a couple of years back.

Snowing steadily here in the coast (Gosport / Ryde), VERY unusual this low down on the coast. Only about 2" (but it IS cold!)
Slick tyres pumped up on fresh snow are great for practicing your driftage!!

Don't think there is any left in Mid Wales now. Not on the coast at least 🙁

It was due to start again at mid day but not so much as a flake yet.

Actually there is a very very very light shower now.
