Hello
Am visiting a friend in Newport and have Sat daytime free to ride, can take SS for or HT, any suggestions. I have heard that Wenlock Esdge is nice but am not sure where to find single track. Will hopefully have an OS Landranger to guide me!
Any Ideas Greatly appreciated!

Wenlock edge is nice but certainly not a cycle route. Or not a singletrack type of ride.
It will be rammed with the hardiest ramblers waiting to detest bikers!
If you want to go that way you may aswell go the 5 minutes to Church Stretton for the long Mynd. Minton Batch & Pole Cottage are the best decents (google them!)
Or you're only 30 mins from cannock for some cheap easy thrills!
