As above, during my winter strip down I noticed that the jockey wheels are very worn (the teeth have gone pointy rather than flat topped and turned themselves into ninja stars) and there's also play where the cage assembly joins the body of the mech.
Seems that a set of jockey wheels are around £20 anyway, so I was thinking to just replace the whole mech as it looks like it's taken a couple of knocks and could be bent.
But I can't find anywhere that sells X-9 10 Speed mechs, places like CRC, Wiggle and Evans only have X-5 or X-0 listed, nothing inbetween!? Have they been replaced, is there now a new equivalent?
Might as well buy a GX? Similar pricing and 10speed too. About £40 for a mech.
