Looking for some decent winter clothing for my kids so I can get them out some more. I've had a wee look at Decathlon but there website doesn't show an awful lot of stuff. Is there generally more in store when you visit?
Are there any other places I should be looking? GoOutdoorsย or Sports Pursuit maybe?
Thanks in advance
Mountain Warehouse, Regatta, Tresspass all do childrens outdoor wear.ย
Aldi have stuff this week, ski themed but it all works unless they need something exotic.
Decathlon, but look beyond the cycling section, their ski and hiking base layers are pretty good (IME) and often cheaper.
Generally speaking with Decathlon it's better to go in store and browse than try to navigate their website...
What age are the kids.
We have been climbing the ladder of columbia buga snowsuits and salopettes + didericksons gloves for the cycling.
But we are talking age 4 doing 2-5km at a time.
Staying warm trumps looking like a cyclist.
Decathlon sizing is daft so if you want to get any wear out of the stuff "age-up" by a couple of years!
Kids have just turned 7&9. Aren't the salopettes a bit too bulky?
The Columbia ones are really quite good - nice cut too. Full price are expensive but in wacky colours you can get a bargain on their clearance/Amazon sometimes.
Mountain warehouse ones were a disaster piss poor cut , bulky , not really made for moving around in if I'm honest
