I'm after a pair of 1 1/8" cartridge bearings for a Cane Creek S8. Is here anywhere that does equivalen size bearings cheaper than the originals?

does the bearing have a code number on it? If so get an equivalent bearing from a bearing supplier

type the bearing code into google or froogle and see what comes up.
doesnt really apply with your headset i dont think, but worth bearing in mind (no pub intended) that every time you push a bearing out, or in, you risk knackering what your pushing it into.
if its a frame, its better to do it as little as possible, not "buy cheap, buy twice", i would have thought
Semi intergrated headset should be fine though
