I have finally reached the end of my light battery stash, where do people get cheap batteries now Maplins has gone?

if its AA batteries you are after then this deal from hope is incredible,

If its alkalines,Curry's own brand are well priced,and seem to last as long as any other.

Watch out for fake Duracell's from the market and ebay etc - there are loads about.

Alkalines, a bulk pack from Argos, B&Q, Aldi if they're doing them, even a pound shop (if there are any left) etc, depending on the offer. Decent branded ones.

Lithium stuff is more complicated. Basically steer clear of the Chinese stuff and pretty much everything on ebay even if seller claims to be UK based (often turns out they're a front for a Chinese import). Very often fakes / recycled laptop batteries. Anything from garbage to downright dangerous.
