Blisteringly hot here in Dorset this weekend, but like all good Englishman we went out in the mid sun!

My mate Rich taking a break after the steep climb from Abbotsbury to the top of the Ridgeway, amazing views!
The post ride pint went down far to quickly!

Just a spin round the FOD on Friday with a mate, met non-riding friends yesterday and family stuff today.

Would go out this evening but I've got my first day in a new job Monday so don't want to turn up knackered, dehydrated and sunburnt!

I didn't. Yesterday and today are day 7 & 8 of isolation because some dickhead thought letting covid rip in schools was a good idea.

Sorry for thread derail. Very annoyed.

A couple of hours on the road bike. Very quiet traffic-wise and a nice fly over by the Red Arrows.

The golfy yesterday- late start and rode into the evening to beat the heat, still feel like a dried raisin though.

Off to Glentress tomorrow to take a mate round the newer offpiste stuff for the first time

I did the Friday Night Ride to the Coast to Brighton, and rode back on Saturday. Only the third time I’ve done a 200km+ ride in a oner.

It was pretty hot coming home. Was nailing the fluids and still had pee like treacle by the time I finished.

Did a 60km ride around East Devon this morning. Even going out at 6.30am it was stupidly hot by 10am 😅

Lovely ride, though still a surprising amount of mud around considering how hot it's been.

Discovered a farm with a new honesty shed, with homemade chocolate cake. Which was nice.

We’re in Keswick for a week so we’ve just got back from doing the two “red” loops at Whinlatter. Cracking effort from our 11yr old to get round them both in this heat - it’s absolutely roasting here today, definitely earned my beer.

Friday, had my first ever trip to Surrey Hills. Amazing weather and had a great ride round, taking in Yoghurt Pots, Telegraph Row, Summer Lightning and BKB. Hope to go back in October.

This morning, just a local ride round the Kent North Downs. 7 am start to beat the heat.

Yesterday we did a 20 mile loop out of Clapham in the Dales,we do a big loop from there but it was proper warm yesterday so we decided to just do the 20 miles.
It was good to enjoy dry trails!

Today I was back out doing my usual loop on the road bike.I was out fairly early to avoid most of the heat
