Depending on dropouts 29er MTB is a good shout. If you have 130mm rear end it's going to be more interesting.

Word on the street is that Mavic are bringing out an Aksium disc wheelset for 2015 should come in about £300 or less I would suspect .

I got XT hubs on Archetypes with DT Comp spokes for about £250.

Don't know if Charlie's got any of those Alpha wheelsets left. £300, 1550g ish. 135mm at the rear, though, but they (or your frame) might be adaptable?

Edit, out of stock, sorry. Might still find them but not so cheap.
