I once sold my 18” Giant MTB on Gumtree IIRC. A surly young gentleman arrived to collect. He was about 6’4” and rode off on it with his kneecaps gently brushing against his ears. I was half-expecting him to return later and ask for his money back but no. Maybe he thought XC MTB means ‘BMX with gears’?

I saw a similar exchange along the lines of...
Buyer - How much is the bike?
Seller - £100
B - OK, what’s the lowest you’ll go?
S - About 3mph, any less than that and I fall off.
