That one of Steve geall doing a inverted tabletop when riding for animal/giant back in the day. Inspired me to go build some jumps.

I met Harry Leary as a kid. Along with Bob Haro and a few others at a Kellogg's bmx show.

That one at the top, TAFKASTR, has to be that one.

It was in a XC race, FFS!

Of the Klunker era, I think I prefer this one of Joe.

As great photo's go, yes, definitely.

However, JMC and the boys in DIRT made me want to ride mtb

Possibly not my favourite photo, but I've always loved this one of Gracia by Gary Perkin. Great shot, great light, great style, great speed.

Obvious choice for me:

I also remember a great one from MBUK of Rob Warner flying through the air nowhere near his Giant downhill bike as he cases a jump, but I can't find it anywhere.

There was once a pic of John Tomac jumping a road bike over a hump or bridge in the road. I can't find it anymore though. Always loved that one.

Mike King Death Slide at the kamikazee 1993. Ok it wasn't the Kamikazee but the same mountain and probably a similar course.

I like this for two reasons, when it was first taken it was part of the whole "will Wiggins really win the Tour?" thing which was growing day by day but now it's more of a reminder of how committed Froome can be and how different that Tour (and the Vuelta previously) could have been.

First edition of "Road Bike Action" in the USA, IIRC.

That's not Tomac, and that's also in the UK. Pretty sure that was a homage pic from the importer at the time. (Carrati?)

I think I remember a Tomac one as well, PP, but can't find it anywhere!

There was a pic of Dave Hemming on his way to junior downhill silver at the first ever offical worlds cornering at speed on his rigid Klein. Awesome stuff.

Right OK. It was Tomac I was thinking of. I think you're right about the Caratti thing.

PeterPoddy, I believe that was a rider with a surname like Zadrobolic...got a fair few wins for Gt then he failed a drugs taste and never really heard off again. I think that was 95...

There's a picture of Peaty pinning it through some woods in an early DH race on a Kona hardtail and I can't find it - another inspirational one for me....
