Mods - please feel free to delete if appropriate.

Bought some brakes from off of my local FB bike forum and was more concerned about there being no clamps to fit to the bars (SRAM guides) than to realise I was sent an R and RS than 2 RS's. Contacted seller about the clamps, which then arrived minus a T25 bolt. Raised a pp dispute, then realised I could get another SRAM bolt for a few quid so closed the dispute (meaning I can't re-open...then realised to my disgust my error over the differing brakes!...hence the idiot title)

Anyway, I've decided to do something positive about this.

I would like to give a load of bike stuff away (although paying postage through normal PP would be appreciated) but ask you to give to a charity of either your choice or mods choice if thats better, what you would have been prepared to pay (I'm relying on you guys to do the right thing!).

I have a used guide r all black rear brake 1400mm (offending item! Lol)
Used shimano 180mm & 160mm RT86 rotors (good condition, sanded and cleaned with IPA)
2 sets of new superstar organic pads (SLX/XT type)
New blue superstar tubeless valves
New blue 34.9mm DMR sect seat clamp
2 blue KCNC 11t jockey wheels used 5 or 6 times
Twice used 2.3 26" spesh purg

To the person that buys the brake, if you tell me how much you're donating and to who, I'll also match your donation (as long as its not in the hundreds! Lol)

I would rather these items go to the genuine single trackers rather than those that use the buy/sell pages only

Thanks for listening and hope you're able to help someone through whatever you might donate.

Thanks
Rob

Jockey wheels and the 26" tyre would be appreciated, quite happy to pay the postage and will happily donate to a charity

Is the 180mm rotor 6 bolt or centre lock?

Cheers

I think RT86s are 6-bolt only.

Chocolate do you still want the 180mm rotor, or just the tyre and jockey wheels?

No worries re the rotors, appreciate the tyre and the jockey wheels 🙂 paypal payment has been sent .

Whats the rough value of what you are sending and what % to charity would you like to see?

Cheers

Thanks chocolate, can you email the address pls too. Can't seem to see it using mobile app.

The tyre was £25 or £30 new and the jockey wheels are £30ish new.

Wait for the goods and then let your conscience guide you 🙂

Thanks V666ern...much appreciated. Trying to stop the cycle of 'if it happens to me then I'll pass it on to some other unfortunate to make up for my loss'
