This has to be one of the worse crimes commited to a Cannondale.
This makes me a saaad panda.

Stick some knobblies on and adjust the saddle angle, that is all it needs.

Those are Cannondale pedals. OK to use but they have a habit of breaking and spares are all but impossible to source.
