I've got a set of fox 150rl talas on my enduro, had them serviced before going to the alps (they said they were in good condition).. towards the end of the week they were very very poor. Dropped some psi out of them but they were still very harsh (the last pleney run i was literally holding on for dear life!)
I've left them upside down for a night, turned the bike back upside down and they feel amazing until I compress them 4 or 5 times.
i've seriously been thinking of ditching them and getting some van coils as the small bump compliance is crap
Hard to tell without looking at them, FIT damper cart or open bath?
Maybe one of the seals in the Talas system has 'blown' and charging the wrong chamber making them fell horrid.
open bath i assume (2009)
Is it worth taking back to the shop (i only had them serviced 2 weeks ago). I've had enough of not being able to get air forks right. I had a set of revs before and i could never get them set up right.
i rode my mates enduro with 36 van's and they felt amazing. Very, very plush
has anyone got a set of fox air forks feeling plush and good over the fast rough stuff?
Did the shop change all the seals in the Talas system as these should be done at service time.
The Talas forks do have a bit more stiction than the floats and vans so the small bump isn't quite as good.
Take them back to the shop and get them to look at them, you can always point them in my direction if they get stuck ๐
