[Closed] What's the cheapest way for me to have a week in Les Gets this summer?

Because I'm going by myself I'd rather stay somewhere I'm familiar with and venture out from there if I feel like it (Alp d'Huez etc.).

I've been quite a few times with mates but circumstances dictate that I'm probably gonna go solo this year.

As such I'm after accommodation just for me - I don't want to camp because of bike security.

Any suggestions? Not too keen on le Boomarang...

Cheers!

When do you want to go, how little do you want to pay, and does it have to be Les Gets rather than Morzine?

We camp in a layby 300 yards down the road from Lac Montriond. Free, and you can use the toilet facilities and showers at the lake.

Go full pikey & join the other students doing a season in the car park next to the Champion in the centre of Morzine. Wash in the river.

I'm thinking early July and don't really want to spend more than £500 all in.
Defo no camping thanks! I like a nice bed and a decent shower!

Was looking at Christiana actually.

Happy with Morzine too.

Anyone want to share a lift / costs?? I'll be driving down in my V70 estate so loads of room!

I've stayed in a self catering chalet every time i've gone - 6+ yrs.
never paid more than £250 for two weeks stay.

If you're intent on driving down and solo you might struggle to do it in budget. If you only want a bed then apline elements is a good price as it includes flights however they have a pretty bad rep for service etc.

jollygoodalpineadventures/le sherpa are worth a check too, in Morzine, really nice place, good food etc and has a bar on site so easy to socialise with other folks staying.

prgmtb had one of the best offers I saw this year with BOGOF accomodation but it's a little way out or morzine. Definitely worth a check though.

Minty, I'm out there at that time, otherwise you could have had my chalet.

There's a couple of cheap hostels in Morzine

Rider's Retreat is dirt cheap too

Go towards the end of the season? Pretty sure Rider's Retreat was circa £80 for a week two years ago?
