After drilling the bolts out of my thomson stem for the second time plus i need some xmas present ideas i thought i'd get a torque wrench.

Lovelly as a Park one would be it's way over budget so are these any good or any other chioces up to £40.

PS is about 2-24N.M the right range for the bike?

I use my engineering skill..... and a big box of helicoils!

Is it any cheaper looking at places like screwfix rather than bike shops?

I've had a look on there and Halfords too but they seem to be more for cars as they start at 8NM or 20NM

Maybe try a dedicated tool company,we use a Teng 1/4" drive in our workshop. It's not totally faultless mind, having a tendency for it's lock to come off if you don't keep an eye on it, but otherwise seems to do the job nicely for most low torque jobs.
Worth looking at Machine Mart, you may have one local to you, they've got a Lazer for under £35.
