[Closed] What tyres for hardtail SS on big Lakeland rocks?

Been a while since I've been on here and even longer since I looked at buying some tyres, so I'm looking to see if there's owt new in the game.

I've a singlespeeded Handjob and a heavy rider, so am looking at for a compromise of low rolling resistance, but good cushion, grip on loose rock.

I've ridden 2.1 High Rollers XCs almost to the canvas and was considering getting some 2.35 High Roller FR's, but am a bit bothered that the 60a compound will be a bit draggy?

What else new is there out there that's equal or better? Anyone got any opinions on Maxxis' new Advantages? They any good? Are they universal, or front/rear specific?
