Will be using my SS with Geax barro mud 1.7, so what pressure would you recommend?
Bring a pump.
Ride round for a bit.
Assess.
Adjust.
*wonders if this is an actual real-life question or an uber-troll?*
My answer would be the same for either case.
[anal]Good Jesus[/anal]
What toothpaste for Wednesday?
Just get out and ride the bloody thing.
I guess you won't be getting pissed in the pub Saturday night...
Colgate, unless it's next Wednesday, then Aquafresh.
Ideally you want something with variable tire pressure. Low for the mud and high for the hard pack. Use helium for the carry sections.
Sensodine. Paste, not gel. No stripes in it.
Exactly 36.75 psi measured at 293.15 Kelvin
Anything more and it'll be death on a stick.
Anything less and it'll be death on a stick.
You have been warned. ๐
Actually it doesn't matter. The winner will be on a CX and was probably one of those riding the course last weekend to get his strategy right.
The rest of you are cannon fodder.
Your tyre pressure must be constant for all conditions and courses, but you should alter your body weight between 8 and 16 stone to suit.
And colgate +1
The winner will be in the fat bike category, let me tell you. Big dumping of snow forecast for Friday nigh/saturday morning ๐
frikkin snow tyres then? gonna freeze?
snow wasn't mentioned in the entry form excuse section?

I'm going for this.
I just put my mud tyres on the tandem.
I don't race in the snow
don't forget the freezing temps will alter your pressure.
