As an owner of 29er HT and FS I'm curious about using 650b+ on them but the reports I have seen on the benefits seem to be for descending and rocky trails. Most of my riding is flat XC on fairly sandy trails with only the occasional trip to somewhere with rocks and proper hills / mountains.
What difference does 650b+ make over 29er on the terrain you ride?

I prefer the B+ on the tamer rails to be honest. Once the rocks/drops get above a certain size it gets too bouncy for me and I prefer the damped suspension of the full-suss. But for hooning around on loose but not too technical stuff it's great. Soaks up trail chatter better than anything and loads of grip. Floats a bit better over boggy ground too.
