Any pointers would be good as to how wet it is up there at the moment.

A few of us are gonna ride from Hope on Sunday, taking in the delights of the surrounding area and I could do with being prepared for whether to expect much wetness, or whether it's fairly dry......

Ta.

Say it's not true.....! I was hoping for some relative dry-ness after the puddles masquerading as ponds at Thetford yesterday....

Well, it was a bit soggy on Tuesday and since then its pissed it down solid, so I imagine its going to be interesting.

Half the routes around the Dark Peak are fun regardless of wetness anyway, the rocks grip whatever ๐Ÿ˜€

Roman Road was only wet in patches (and that usually turns into a total bogfest at the first hint of rain), however that was last weekend and since then it has rained pretty heavily.
Shooting Cabins (Hayfield way rather than Hope) was in reasonable condition on Thursday though, just standing water on a solid base rather than grit/mud.
