Never had a full sus but interested as my back is degenerating. My riding is 2hrs around the north downs/Surrey Hills, I'm light and not a gnarly rider at all so thinking short travel full sus. My hardtais are built up very light which I like.

I'm also a fan of titanium and steel, and the retro look so Cotic Rocket looks appealing to me, but poss a bit heavy/burly for me. Litespeed Sewanee looks interesting, but keen to try 27.5 (prob not 29er). And I'm kind of aware of the relative flaws of ti/steel for full suspension frames.

New territory for me so any bikes/frames/brands to look for as a start point?

Many thanks

Under the recommend what you have, a Carbon Camber in 29 flavour will be perfect ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have you looked at the Flare and FlareMAX?

I looked long and hard at Flare, but reckoned it was maybe just a little too much bike for my needs, so have just bout at 17 Anthem. Just about as capable and a whole lot lighter.

On the basis of my Aeris 145 demo I've now got one on order so I'd say book a test ride day on the 120. Not steel or ti though, but supporting a local(ish) business who really care about making good bikes, so...

I'm rather enjoying my new niner jet carbon. 100mm travel each end climbs like a monster ๐Ÿ™‚

i'll second the carbon spec camber but 27.5
130mm revelation on front 120mm rear, its proper light and its transformed my mates riding..

i've decided i hate lugging around my 150mm pike full sus enduro bike, much prefer short travel for speed and agility and climbing like a mountain goat.
