Just about to buy a dropper post for my 2012 Rocky Mountain Altitude. It's the 20.5" model.

http://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/Bikes,3/Rocky-Mountain/Altitude-50,4456

I'm going to go for the KS Dropzone remote as it's a great price for what seems like a quality product and has the external cable routing that I need.

But, what length to get. I'm 6'4" and usually have the stock 350mm seat post extended to pretty much full length minimum insertion line.

The dropzone is available in 420mm and 385mm with a 125mm drop. Only thing i'm wondering about, is if the frame will have enough seat tube internal insertion length to take the 420mm of the longest dropzone available??? Anyone put my mind at ease, or anyone got a 2012 Altitude that they've put a dropper post into.

I don't know about the frame but 125mm drop is a little bit too short for me at 6'2.
