Looks like an option to lop off the headtube on your Cotic/On-One etc and fit a tapered one. They do custom frames etc don't they so probably an inhouse job.

Just out of interest what would it cost to have one retro fitted to an existing frame?

quite a bit, difficult to jig up accurately basically, plus you'd need paint/powder after. Of the top of my head a good 5-600 I would have thought. Modifying frames takes a lot more effort than building from scratch
