Enlighten me please. In which way does it differ from a half day bike? Or even a evening bike? And what about a on to two hours bike?
Orange 5 .. does all the above.
all dayer is what it says, you can ride 'er all day and well into the evening. Probably you wouldn't take her home to meet your mum though, alldayers tend do be a bit comely, slightly overweight and a bit soft around the edges.
The evening bike, that's the spangly shiny one that you want to show off to your mates and be seen out with. Fast and flighty, can handle tight corners and odd positions. Great looker but often fragile, to be treated gently.
the 1 -> 2 hour bike, that's the one that rides bloody hard and fast but takes it out of you so no marathon sessions for this one. Crude, rude and bloody fast but uncomfortable on a longer run. Take her out and go hard for a couple of hours then lock her back in the basement where she can't do herself (or you) any more damage. not for the faint of heart.
/edit never met a half day bike, but then I'm not very worldly wise.
thats a good explanation, for a second there i thought it sounded like people trying to rationalise the need for loads of different bikes ๐

LMAO.....
mine's a hemlock, although i'm not sure that's a good example of the genre.
ST (of this forum) does not understand the concept of an all-day bike either.
He's never kept one that long.
I'll be needing to get an 'all day' body first then!
It's an 'all day ass' you need, not an 'all day bike' ๐
