I was at the roadside on that stage, saw Movistar off the back trying to get back on. They were less than a minute down then. How did he lose so much time? How did the team car not get to him quicker? What happened to his wheel? Was it just the wind that beat them. It was blowing a gale.

Echelons. He got stuck in a group that gave up the chase while Saxo, Belkin and OPQS were attacking Sky.

The wind got him, more so than the mechanical

Froome/sky missed the jump by about 10 metres (no mechanical) and were 4-5 minutes down at one point ๐ฏ
