Do I need a gravel specific pump?

I'm only half joking. What pump for 650b high volume? I'm guessing my road pump won't handle the volume. 45 psi maximum.

On ours we have an sks rennkompressor for everything at home, so large volume Mtb. On the Cx bikes a zefal frame fit on the top tube held with zefal doodads (old skool roadie style) all seem to work fine despite not being gravel.

I just use the same pump for road, gravel and mountain bike rides. Silca Tattico. Used on all flavours successfully.

My Lezyne Micro Floor Drive has been transferred to the half frame bag of my gravel bike.
A One Up 70cc now resides next to the bottle cage on my Banshee Rune.

I've got a Lezyne Sport Gravel Drive. Works well, unlike most floor pumps it only goes up to 100psi so there is reasonable resolution on the gauge. Presta only!

I would be looking for something with a thumb chuck rather than screw on, to reduce the chance of middle-of-nowhere-unthreaded-tubeless-valve nightmares.

What's the Tattico like? Have been tempted, LBS sells them...

Tattico is great (if slightly heavy)!

But if you specifically require a gravel pump you’ll have to get the gravelero 🤣

For on the bike? Tubeless and a couple of C02 carts, faster and smaller than a pump. Think I've used 2 or 3 this year so at 50p each much cheaper too.

Gravel specific pump you say, it's in my reviewed list 😆

[CO2 cartridges] 50p each

Where did you find them at this price?

Silca Tattico here too. I tried several pumps from Topeak, SKS and Fabric but my gravel bike gets so wet they all just died. The Tattico is the only one that keeps on working. It's pricey but I've only had to buy one and not several replacements.

@onewheelgood Does it not have the standard Lezyne flippable chuck?

Silca have just launched a 'gravel' floor pump which has a non-linear gauge. If I didn't have 5 (don't ask) track pumps already...

Nope. It has a screw on chuck, reversible so that you can screw it on to a valve with the core removed to help with seating tubeless tyres.

[CO2 cartridges] 50p each

I picked up a couple of boxes of 10 for £4.99 each, could have been from Planet-X but might be wrong.
