...That fulfils the following criteria?

Longish travel
Slack
Suitable for the Alps and occasional uplifts
Pedalable when I need it to be
Cheap / second hand - Say around £400

So far the shortlist consists of an SX Trail... Any other suggestions?

Older version of the giant reign x. Comencal supreme also good.

About 66ish degrees I reckon for slackness. Not full on DH angles, but lower and slacker than my Heckler was and my mmBop is.

Reign X is a good call, as is Commencal. Though the 5.5 would be a bit too similar to the Heckler I sold (which was ace) - I'm after something a bit more gravity oriented.

If you liked the Heckler that much.....The newer Heckler is 69 degree head angle with 140mm forks, but it will run up to 160mm - by putting the longer travel forks on, would that slacken it enough for you?

Fancy a change from the Heckler TBH - maybe something with a linkage... And a bit beefier.

Rich - I really want something full sus, I already have a hardtail I love!
