i currently run Rock Shox Revelation (approx 130mm travel) but feel i could do with a little more
what do you recommend and what is the max for this frame bearing in mind i use it as an all day xc bike mainly?

I've got a 305 and I use a 130mm Fox Float which feels perfect for the bike. I'm not sure I'd want any more for an all day machine.

Rockshox Revelations at 130mm on mine. The steering feels nice and sharp too.

The "5" in 305 is the clue. It stands for 5" same as on the 405 and the 506 is 6" better than the old fork system anyway.

Fox Talas, then you have best of both worlds, the new ones are 110mm-130mm-150mm.
