Hi chaps,
I'm building the missus a Turner Sultan, and not whether to go 120 or 140mm. Most of our riding is technical Scottish stuff, we do decent length rides and will be doing a few point to point enduros....
The rear is 125mm....
Cheers

Anyone have any ideas? Looking at the Manitou Tower Pro 120mm, it has a 5mm longer A2C then Rockshox, so will be more like a 125mm.
It's that or a 140mm Revelation, but the difference is £360 or £550....
Cheers

Have one, a 2012. Great bike!
Built mine with a 120mm Reba Maxle to start - first use was on a Freeride Morocco holiday - coped with everything.
Have just replaced the Reba with a dual position Revelation 110/140mm. Feels bonkers capable with the 140mm fork, makes the front a bit slacker, but good climbing with the fork reduced to 110mm. Only ridden on local stuff so far though. Yet to use on anything bigger.
Revs came from one of the German sites. £440.
what year is the frame?
I have a 2010 and fitted a 120 Tower Pro, QR15 is brilliant, forks highly tunable and Manitou customer service the best in the industry
Just got on of the CRC 2011 reduced Sultans and a Revelation 110/140. I've not idea how it'll suit the bike because its waiting to be built, but I figured with two positions it'll work either way.
I've been riding a Sultan for a couple of years now with Fox 120mm up front. Whilst it is superb and far more capable than I am, I'd love to put something like the Revs on it. They would make it true monster truck-like for pointing down hills. I've always thought the adjustable fork was the thing missing from 29ers.
I've got 120mm Fox Talas on mine. Only used it on South Downs so far but fine for what I ride.
i had the option to go for 140mm but for me i thought it would be just too much. I'm a wheels on the ground rider!
