I use my dakine split roller. Its the small 60 litre size and it perfect for a long weekend away.

No compartments but the Mountain Equipment holdall hora mentioned is good. I use one and the waterproof bag sown into it is excellent - very useful.

I have a great Lifeventure duffle type bag. Lots of sections, including two end sections, one which takes a helmet and one which is designed with a vented zip to look after wet muddy kit.

A large netting compartment for dry stuff- a wet/taped-seams ones for wet stuff and you can hose it out ๐Ÿ˜€

I took this one year to France (no other baggage) - it was tardis-like.

another vote for the mountain equipment, and use alpkit lightweight drybags to keep stuff dry/seperate
