I would just like some advice on what chain device would fit my bike/set up as I am most confused by it all! I have a Cove hustler (2006 I think) with SlX Cranks, double and bash with xt front mech. I would like to keep my own bash guard on if at all possible. Would the blackspire stinger be any good? Any advice very welcome! Thanks Simone
Why do you need a chain guide?
From what I've read about dual ring chain guides is they don't run very smoothly.
I run a double and bash on my Hustler and have not had an issue with the chain coming off.
If you do have an issue I'd say either your chain is too long, your rear mech is too long or both.
E13 drs on my hustler. Works well and smoothly
dmr dual chain thingy here
works excellently

had to saw the top part off to fit on my kona or it fouled the swingarm but its never moved despite the missing top mounting
Stinger on a double and bash. Works very well and smoothly.
+1 for Blackspire Stinger. Super smooth + no problems.
Raceface cranks / double bash on my Hustler. All works fine - no need for chain device. Good luck!
Stingers work very well. I thought I might get away without one on my new build, shorter rear mech and chain, but I have one sitting here waiting to go on.
...Mmm thanks for all that. I may try a stinger. Sorry to sound ignorant, but which fitting should I get for the Hustler? Thanks again Simone
You'll want the BB mount Stinger!
