Hi all
Ive realized im a little older and have a family and after many years of dh and hurling myself off drops and road gaps etc (some less sucessfull then others) im starting to search out more trail rides
i think this seams to have happened without me really being aware - maybe an inate thing
anyway my point is i love my spicy but i have built it up as a fairly fr build with coil shocks etc. i love the way it rides and im toying with getting a new version and getting back to air shocks for trail rides
However im feeling a little drawn to a zesty and im wondering if you can tell me your thoughts i want a light trail/am bike that will be great on longer rides and trail centers but also still be able to do a bit of dh like gawton and definately go to the alps will the zesty handle this or do i still need the spicy
also the new ones medium size is 43 instead of 46cm im 5'11 and my 46 is great just woneered if anyone has found the 43 to still fit the same
alot of questions i know but your thoughts are appreciated
many thanks pete

TBH, i can no longer really tell the Zesty and Spicey apart! The Zestys up to 150mm front now, and they share frames in their entirety. You can make one into another with a change of rear shock and it's link.

So far the only thing i can't do on my Zesty is stop the frame cracking.........
