I really like my Troy Lee Skyline shorts but, barring a few odd sizes/colours no-one seems to stock them anymore! Don't know if they've been discontinued or distributor just not bringing them in?
What is similar in quality/fit? Not too lairy cos I like to wear them off the bike as well!
I bought a pair of Endura MTR this year and really like them. Relatively slim fitting, minimalist and light. Think they only come in black.
they look good actually, come in a few colours but all low-key! £73 tho? oof! 😃

I bought some Endura Singletrack II from wiggle - £39.99 including the better liner that costs £45 on its own at most places!
I tried TLD shorts but the liners seems a little too snug.
Been wearing Endura Humvees for years. Proper comfy, take loads of abuse and perfectly acceptable out and about town.
