just gone to 720 bars, great downhill but I want to move my hands closer in uphill. Not at all comfy though on the grips' inner ridge.

what are my choices, or am I going to have to use roadie tape ?

thanks

As above, they're 15mm wider than a standard grip. I saw some Charge grips in my LBS earlier that looked pretty wide but I didn't look closely at them so can't remember thier name.

just googled these. Wide but also thick.

I like my grips thin. If bars were knurled I wouldn't bother with grips...

Just use some sort of road bar tape. Then you can choose how wide they are

Sunline ribbed non lock on grips.
Forget how long they are but longer than standard.

Or something like Grab On foam grips? You can cut it to the length you want. eg http://www.dotbike.com/p/3362

flapjack, it's karma / pay it fwd time. I have a few sets of charge grips (well, a velo grip, it's the same mold) here, let me know what colour you'd like ideally and if you paypal the postage level of donation to a good cause, they're yours (M.I.P)
