What are the three most beautiful MTB competitions in which you participated?
Well I like quarries, so the Brownbacks xc series for me. Yeah - I did lots more than 3, so the 3 driest.
๐
SDW at night, end to end... it was a truly epic event.
Wildside in tassie just stunning
Strathpuffer (the daylight bits anyway)
Grand Raid Cristalp
Manx100 and/or End to End
Highland Trail Race
Mega Avalanche
Grand Raid Cristalp
cristalp
trans nepal
rovaniemi 150
that said, i like the drive to relentless, and battle on the beach was cool too.
Transandes Challenge
Rift Valley Odyssey
Mt Kenya 10to4
(I live abroad, can you tell?)
The Trans Maurienne...
It's the only one I've done which was distractingly beautiful. I like Lee Quarry but I'm usually struggling to breath too hard notice its finer points ๐
Megavalanche
Enduro World Series - Whistler
The first DH race I ever won!
Tuesday treats #obvs
(I live abroad, can you tell?)
No, because "abroad" isn't one place, and it's hardly surprising that 'exotic' locations are more interesting.
Personally for me:
SiTS at Catton - the views of Birmingham were just lovely
NPS at Margam - beautiful views of the decaying Port Talbot steel works
Mayhem 2012 - the conditions were just incredible, that was beautiful
(May not be entirely serious)
Surely the EWS at Finale Ligure has to be on the shortlist. I've been trying to convince my gf it would be a nice trip away ever since!
Tour de Ben Nevis
Dudes of Hazard Enduro
Puffer when there is a full moon lighting up a snow covered Ben Wyvis.
BB200 was stunning last year
Tour Divide has to be on the list
And the Iditarod Trail invitational
Edit to add:I haven't done the last 2, but hey, they should still be on the list
Dyfi enduro , three years on the belt.
HONC
HONC is great, not an mtb event though ๐
Sh*t...how do i pick!? I can't do them all ๐
