Drying out amazingly fast round my way (Amersham), went for my local xc ride and came back without a single spot of mud on my face! I'd say go for it! I'm off to Aston Hill tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜€

Drying out nicely.

We did a loop this morning around the South Chilterns, and only the Ridgeway (north of the M40 for a couple of miles) was in the least muddy.

Split my 2nd tyre this week - bloody flints - although the fellow STW following almost got a splatting from the Stans liquid.

Drying out nicely, and desperately in need of bikes to smooth out the bits the horses and walkers have chewed up before it sets like concrete (like it does).

i will be doing my bit this evening - i love riding when its drying out, re-establishing the trails. What i ride over the next couple of weeks sets boundaries for both horse rutted bogs and overzealous vegetation.

love to get up to aston on the weekend, but ive a big list of chores.

Out last night, rode some of the same stretches I did a week ago. Big improvements - particularly the bridleway from Ashridge farm down to Hockley farm, last week I ended up pushing through the boggy bit, last night it was so firm that I could just keep the power on and skate over the top.

Still some right dungholes here and there though.

Ah, I spoke too soon! Aston at its worst today, nearly dry then rain on top then starting to dry, so basically v slimy and then most of the track comes with you wherever you go. Ho hum!
