I know I know I should be insured anyway but heyho! After braking my Clavicle last weekend at Glentress , My lovely partner has deemed I will not be allowed back on a bike until I am insured. What is a good low cost policy (if one exists) can any of the STW massive recommend.
I was recommended CTC by a roadie in the pub last Thursday. Not looked into it yet but it sounded lke a good option. Key CTC into google for info.
What andyeez says
I know that CTC and British Cycling cover you if you're hit by a car etc but do they cover you if you just fall off of your own accord?
I'd have thought that'd be more life insurance type stuff or parhpas an optional extra on your home insurance rather than cycle specific?
i took out Post Office income protection insurance for the same reason, a short term cover in case of injury to keep the bills paid until life insurance kicked in.
They changed the terms to no pay out until 60 days so i cancelled it
It wasn't cheap mind, £40ish a month for £1000 per month cover
