Anyone got the above lube. Got a can for a few quid from tesco's. It has teflon in it.Wondered if it was ok for forks. Mr Tim Flooks seems to think teflon is ok ( well chain lube with teflon in)

What else have you used it for successfully?

Cheers

I've used it for a variety of applications, chain lube, cables, mech pivots, frame cleaner etc plus I've used to degrease bearings and the like. It's better than WD40 'cos it doesn't leave as 'wet' a residue.

Not used it on fork seals, I use Brunox Deo for that and I can heartily recommend it.

I'd avoid introducing anything containing solvents into your fork oil tbh

I happily use a silicon lubricant spray on the forks/shock
(this come in the form of car dash-board cleaner or something similar)

TF2 spray is really very similiar to WD40, it's the same basic ingredients mixed up slightly differently, with some extra stuff so they can say it's different and with a tiny amount of ptfe so they can say "contains teflon".

Fork Juice seems to be just slightly overpriced silicon lubricant... But that's OK, it comes in a nice can and it lasts forever. Fork oil is another good option but it does attract dust.

I like fork juice - certainly makes the forks plusher (in the short term) and lifts a lot of crap out of the seals which must be a good thing (although other sprays may do this - i have not tried anything else).

Why not just use chain lube? Finish Line Wet seems to work perfectly for me.
