Nah.
Distance is miles.
A loop of some of the trails on two local hills.

Can we add photos directly nowadays? Or, do we still have to use some sort of app related sorcery?

Yes I think there's a function to upload direct.

Think you click the visual tab, then the tab that looks like a picture and select your pic from there.

Not sure though as I've never tried.

Edit.

Yep that worked.

(Pic not from today unfortunately)

First ride in a couple of weeks due to possible tendonitis in my braking finger. Still not good so a bit of middle finger braking...

Not much dust dampening round here, loving my frame bag/bottle for shorter rides, but not the dust all over the cap!

WFH Fridays, usually have an early morning pedal in summer beforehand if it's not raining.

Plans scuppered a little by some rather boisterous foliage, a quick diversion and managed a half decent loop in the sun

Rubbish pic, great ride. We used to go to the pub at 5pm every Friday. Now we go for a ride and sometimes go to the pub 😉

Had a proper 'can't be arsed' at 430pm, but so glad I did.

Well it did drizzle but pedalled over to see the national circuit race champs in Redcar. Was good to get out and see bikes going very fast close to.

I organised a work meeting in the cafe at Llandegla yesterday, so it would have been rude not to get a ride in too 🙂 A really enjoyable ride with a lovely light misting of rain, not enough to make anything wet but enough to keep you nice and cool. Natural selection 3 has just opened and it is very good!

I done 23.47 miles with 1710 ft of ascent, my longest ride yet since getting back on the bike, pretty proud of myself achieving that whilst still weighing 21.3 stone (down from 22.6) that I was able to do it, especially on my big heavy enduro bike.

Felt I could have done more but wasn't prepared for 73% humidity and had drank all my water by mile 10, would have been a good idea to bring food too I guess.

Only got the the one photo as the next 5 miles were overgrown bridleways and then I didn't stop after that just kept going

@slowol I was thinking of having a walk from Marske to Saltburn to see the race on Sunday, the info on their website doesn't seem great though.

Don't suppose you know the route and what time roughly? I've heard they're finishing with a climb up Saltburn bank

@eatmorepizza

I've put what I know in a new thread. Please add any more that you've found out.
Edit: tried to post a link but the magic system only finds the one about Fridays racing in Redcar.

I rode Bolehills this morning on the DJ bike. I didn't bother taking any pictures of me hanging up like a sack o'taties.

Got around 3km into today's ride before getting too annoyed and looking at my gears.

Had to go home and get the ebike...

Too hot so didn't go far and had to pick the descent based on what i knew i wouldn't have to front brake down as this was as far as i could bend my finger after yesterday's ride...

Today hired some e-bikes and took the kids for a spin around FOD on their KRS seats and then the skills and pump tracks there. Friday was a warm up on Friday at the local pumptrack at Wotton Community PARC.

Looking forward to Monday when we have to explain all the bruises, gravel rash and scrages to their preschool teachers again.

only the usual scrapes and bruises from

no rain forecast for me, but a bit of a cloud trapped on the side of the hill on the way down for some added atmosphere

Another early ride for me this morning taking in the easily accessible stuff from the front door. Already hot at 9am and trails were really dry, dusty and loose. Also got to see the impact of a disposable BBQ on the moor from a few weeks back, not good.

Just a short out and back up the canal after another month's layoff, but more importantly, I found and fixed a creak that has been driving me crazy!

No showers here (Leeds) yet, although thunderstorms forecast in about an hour's time ...

In fact, the showers to dampen the dust happened early last week, but trails have returned to dusty goodness (with just the right amount of tack/grip)

2 very short local loops, yesterday & today ... too hot/humid for anything more.

And then some amazing fluffy cloud from yesterday evening.

Giga needs some new main pivot bearings, so the hardtail came out for a hot, dusty ride around Staunton/The Yat.

Brilliant conditions, had a lot of fun and quite a few beers as I rode in from home. Which explains the 70km/1300m of climbing Strava tells me I did!

In need of a lie down now, and all of the food 🙂

Out and about in Surrey and Kent out the door from SE25. Mainly off road, 66.5km and 1090m of climbing... glorious day, a bit warmer than I was hoping following a late start but glad most of the climbs were in the shade. Caution on the technical descents meant I managed to keep the bike the right way up this time, but did get a few scrapes from brambles which are criss-crossing the bridleways at  inconvenient moments... Loving this bike 🙂
