my coaching website is being built.
this is the holding page www.ukbikeskills.co.uk
im thinking sub menus and the pictures change etc....
good so far?
whatcha reckon
Do you mean - www.ukbikeskills.co.uk or a different site?
Pictures change would be great. I'd have a menu on the left under the logo with things like...
Home (gotta have that one)
Beginners
MTB
Road
Skills
Fitness
Racing
Shore
Contact
Pictures
etc etc etc
Just my opinion... but I'm no web builder
Love the look and feel so far - Brown, Blue and Black!
you need to make it as simple as possible. large websites seem a good idea but they soon get out of date and you need a whole lot of time to update them. why not just run it off a blog?
I always like the format of www.18bikes.co.uk especially love the updates on custom bike builds - swap this for training sessions and you can pop up some riding photos along with some details on what people learnt etc...
yeah thats the one.
i dont know why the link dont work 🙁
note to self......stick to cycling
Visually that's a really strong website which is a good start. As Bushwacked says a good next step would be to sit down with a pen and paper and work out what information you want to be on there and how you're going to structure it.
Think about how you are going to use it in the future jedi - is it going to be a bit like a diary (blog), are you going to answer questions & publish replies which could be a great business development tool (like leelikesbikes.com) or is it simply going to be an advertisement for your services (what I do, credentials, locations, dates etc)?
As above dont underestimate the effort involved in if you are going down the regular update/diary/blog route. Look at Chris Ball's dirtschool site as an example - the basic info is fine but the blog is a bit of an after thought and very stale.
good points
