I'm just upgrading a bike from cantis to V-brake (yep, I know, up with technology here) and I need to go with full length outer on the back to handle the routing to the noodle. I could just tie wrap the outer to the frame and that would work perfectly but are there any more elegant ways of doing it?
Thanks
Dremel the ends of the existing cable stops off to allow the outer to thread through...? (DISCLAIMER: DO IT CAREFULLY!!)
its what i've done on my Meta for the rear gear cable.. worked a treat..
I can cut the end off the front stop but the back one is a tube that is only wide enough to take an inner. It's a good idea for the front one though

Perfect thanks, that looks brilliant. Didn't even know they existed
You might find an old problem solver clamp. They clamp around the top tube to give you a cable stop.
