Sure, it's technically an advert for DMR but that doesn't stop it from being an excellent watch
The first half of that was excellent. All that footage and photography is burned into my brain.
I was an obsessed teenager in the late 90's and I loved Dirt and Sprung.
Watched this with my boys.
Me: "I've got that mag in loft! And that one, and that one! I remember that clip! and that one, and than one, we've got that VHS in the loftas well, I watched that over and over and over!" "That was the Malverns that we went to to together! He's the guy we see at races! That's our local jump spot!"
"I spent a good slice of a weekend getting drunk etc at the Square and Compass with guy who filmed all of this, and so much of the footage that stoked out and inspired all of the guys we watch on you tube!"
Them: "Too much talking."
Switched to a Jackson Goldstone docco.
#generations.
Thanks to the OGs, And thanks to Alex.
Honest question: how much does the UK DH race, dirt jump, scene today owe to him spreading the stoke in a pre-social media world?
I reckon a good slice.
