Only a couple of us made it out for an abortive ride last night, but the Nutbrook Trail/Shipley Park area seemed awash with brightly lit mountain bikers.
You can all thank me later for hoovering up all the thorns with my rear tyre to keep the tracks clear for you 🙄

There's a rather random group of us based in West Hallam who try and get out most Wednesdays - usually set off about 7, tend to ride Shipley/Strelley/Cossall kind of way on the bridleways and canals, depending on the weather and mud. Not very technical. Aim to be back at the Punchbowl before 9 for some hop based recovery drinks.
Often only 2-3 of us, 5 is pretty much a full turn out. Times and routes can be varied to suit whoever is free that night.
