Planning a ride around Black Wood over xmas and so looking for a GPX or TRL file to use in either Tracklogs or MM.

Failing that just a map image would be great

Tried the link to a bing map from another post but couldn't get it to load.

Cheers

Hmmm, I thought I had one but unable to locate it. Seem to remember there was a link on here. Have you checked out the Micheldever thread?

Thanks for the reply and for looking.

Yes. Tried the bing map link in the Micheldever thread but it says the map has been removed.

There is an image of a map on that thread, which should be a reasonable starter for ten, and the place isn't that big, so I'm sure we will be fine finding our way around.

c_g, if you click on the route that you'd like the GPX file for above the map is a button 'Export', click on this and it will display download options, TCX, GPX and KML files.

shedfull, thanks for the links.

Shedfull,

Thanks for the link. That's a great help.

Looking at the name against the "sightseeing tour" route it looks like it is the one that the last poster on the micheldever thread was offering to email. But I never heard back.

Now I just have to figure out how to use my etrex, that's been at the bottom of a drawer for 2 years.

Have sent a bunch of stuff through to Fieldmarshall - hope he had a good day: I'm stuck in work on call sadly. Have now managed to get to the garmin site referred to above: yes that was me: i took a friend of mine round for a look a few weeks ago, and he had his gps fired up. I think that the route we did is pretty good: it is not the full enduro route, which i have emailed to fieldmarshall, but pretty much the same.
