I've missed the deadline for entries for the BHF charity ride this year, which is a bit embarassing as a) I'm supposed to be doing it with a few people I know, including my girlfriend, and b) they got their entries in on time.
We've got all the transport etc sorted and I was planning to go down and tag along regardless, but I'd much rather have an official entry with a start time and a number. Anyone signed up but unable to do it? I'm quite happy to reimburse the person whose entry I'm taking, or alternatively make a donation for the same amount.
Do the off-road version in September its more fun. 😉
I'm committed to this one I'm afraid - other people are doing it, we arranged transport and a sponsor page, and it was only when I dug out the email from them offering a place, and noticed the "5 days to reply" bit that it all went pear shaped.
Nouveau was telling me about your off-road event and I have to admit it sounds good. We're riding back to Bristol along the South Downs Way, so it's gonna be kind of similar. What's the date of the off-road event this year?

Tell 'em you've got a load of sponsors etc, they may be able to help you out (my usual ploy of 'I sent it aaages ago, please help' usually works).
I don't know who does the road events so afraid I don't think I can help (only to say they know and allow for the fact that lots of people riding aren't registered) and if you're still raising money its all good.
