Hi,

Sorry for posting a What's it Worth question...

After finally deciding that my pro-lapsed disc isn't going to repair well enough to do big drops on my big bike for a couple of years, I've decided to let someone else enjoy it. Trouble is, I've no idea what to ask for it.

It's a 2004 vintage medium Santa Cruz VP-Free with an 888 rc2x fork, hope/sun wheels, hope v2 front / mono4 rear brakes etc etc.

If I can get a reasonable idea on what I should expect, I can then post a proper advert in the proper place and take things from there. On the other hand, if a mod wants to move this elsewhere, I'm fine with that too.

Rachel

I remember a frame going well cheap on ebay, £400 odd, a while ago.

Been keeping an eye on these for a while and they do seem to be going silly cheap for what they are. Regularly going for sub £400 in decent nick (frame only) on ebay where prices are usually slightly inflated compared to the classifieds on here...

its worth nothing, i suggest you donate it to me as a fellow bad back sufferer.

(sorry to hear about your back Rachel, hope it does improve and you find yourself riding sick to the power of gnar asap)

Thanks guys - it looks like I'm just as well keeping hold of it!!

Pity - I think if I could have got close to 1500 all-in I would be happy.

Oh and @philconsequence - it is improving and I'm happy riding my XC bike it's just I don't want to have some huge off on the big bike and go back to square 1 - it wasn't a pleasent place!!!

Thanks

Rachel
