Would like to hear from others regarding the above. I love the ability that ViewRanger gives you of being able to sync your routes to your mobile handset, but I am becoming increasingly frustrated at the poor editing of longer routes with ViewRanger. The GPSies editing ability and performance seems to be so much better than ViewRanger.
Only reason I still use ViewRanger is because I paid for the OS map coverage. I don't think GPSies gives you that ability?
If you try editing a long route via ViewRanger on your mobile it just does not work. Crap really
Have you tried using ViewRanger's route planing tool my.viewrnager.com on your PC/Mac? Planning long routes on your mobile will be much harder on such a small screen with any app. I've also found it's much better on a tablet, so you might want to give that a go.
