Have a bit of a special need here, I do calisthenics training on bars outside and bike to get there, looking for gloves that are:

1. As grippy as possible (latex coated work gloves work great in autumn)
2. Very insulating (I have poor circulation or just poorly insulated hands), gripping metal bars doesn't help.
3. Yet fairly slim for good dexterity on the bars.. (might not exist, what's the latest in insulation tech? :p)

I use these for winter Surfing / kayaking (well did, not anymore) in Scotland.

Very toasty. Might be a bit sweaty depending on level of exertion but probably no more so than with any super warm glove though.

Not sure the perfect curve is ideal here tbh, they're definitely not slim. Warm, though.

I like neoprene gloves down to a few degrees, but your hands get clammy so I’m not sure I’d want to wear them for prolonged periods at sub-zero. For long rides at sub-zero then I’d look at pogies and you can wear just a thin glove - I used some Extremities liner gloves which have a thin, grippy palm in the Arctic winter.

@singletrackmind

Cheers, those do look extremely grippy, but I'm in Poland atm and have hand size medium, would be happy to pay for shipping however.

Decided to try some latex coated freezer work gloves coming in at around 6 gbp, rated EN 511 x3x so a very high rating for contact cold, not rated for convective cold or water resistance, but imagine they could be 131.

Something just popped up on my phone, Sageholm wind n water proof thermal gloves, good down to -30 apparently if you believe everything you read. Might be worth a Google though.

I've just ordered a pair each of these, from a recommendation on a building site last week:
Showa 451 Thermal Grip Glove
Showa 306 Waterproof Grip Glove

Less than £7 each.
