New year (plus a bit) new me, I have decided to attempt some sort of structured training for 2017 and want to make use of my Strava data (but don't fancy paying for their premium sub). So I just unearthed my old veloviewer account for a looksee.
Seems I'm limited to 25 uploads now (already reached with previous data) so if I want to use it to look at anything from the last three years or now I'll have to pay a whole tenner a year for "pro"... That seems pretty reasonable but is it actually a useful set of tools?
Seems there's a lot of data Sifting and sorting options, but is anyone using VV to track and manage their training?
I love it, but not really as a training tool. I use it more as a geeky way of looking at where I've ridden and so on. Things like the E Number and the Explorer Square.
I use it. I like it. It's worth a tenner to me.
Previous user of other more expensive options, so I'm happy that this does all the functionality I need for less.
Try this if you use chrome. Gives you most of the premium capability for free.
I am most interested at the minute in using my HR information to gauge effort/zones based on LT and/or ftp.
VV seems to be able to extrapolate all sorts from whatever data it pulls in from Strava... Is it actually useful stuff?
I liked it, so I gave a donation.
The next week it was locked behind a paywall, so it can go jump in a ditch.
Used veloviewer for a while now and love the data.
As linked above. The stravistix plug in for Goggle Chrome is a hidden Gem. Lots of extra info and details all over the sight once installed.
Book marking for later
Love using veloviewer to look at all the data/graphs/maps/explorer tiles, even though I don't use it for training or anything. Well worth the £10!
Agree with above £10 is a bargain, I love the stats!
go to activity then click on 3D profile, then make it spin, wooooo! cool.
