Hi all, the benefit of experience and some knowhow would very much be appreciated:
I want to lace up some UST rims (Deemax) with Hope hubs. It's been pointed out that I need UST cups (from Madison) but I'm wondering how a normal spoke then connects/interfaces to the cup once the cup is in place in the rim. Is there an internal thread within the cup for the spoke to be screwed into?
Anybody any experience with this, good or bad.
Thanks.

The cup holds a regular nipple.
You have to put the cup on the spoke, thread the nipple on, then screw the cup into the rim.
